Preparing for the Easter Bunny

I love Easter! The weather is usually getting nicer around here and there are so many fun activities you can do with your kids. Jackson and I dyed our first batch of eggs today, he did a great job! I am the only one that somehow ended up with purple, yellow, orange and blue stains on my hands. We will do a nice big batch of Easter cookies tomorrow so we can enjoy them on Sunday when my mom comes over.

Fishing

We decided to take Jackson down to the pond behind our house and let him try his hand at fishing. We were not too successful with this trip but it did get Jackson used to holding a pole. The pond is stocked with fish but I have a feeling they were not too impressed with the cheap hot dogs we used as bait. Next time we will get a few live minnows and see what happens.
